The Steel City has won several RC Cups and lower division titles. But the big D1 trophy has evaded its grasp, despite the club being one of the veterans of the region. Manager Doug has led the club for more than 20 seasons.
Pittsburgh is 4 points ahead with five games remaining. The mighty Las Vegas is chasing them in second. But Vegas has a tough season finale — they’re in the Wes Cup semis and have an RC final coming up on Friday. Suspensions and injuries could play a role in deciding the championship.
Pittsburgh are the form team, led by an exciting trio of young strikers. Full focus is on the league — but nerves of steel will be required if the club can get over the line and add its name to the history books. Manager Doug has a rich history of wes cup and D1 trophies at his old club Zagreb but it’s been many years since the manager has tasted similar success. He might not get a better chance.
